Great question! I'm on this specific project because I love English -not ground-breaking news, anyway- and working in a team will help me hone my tongue and acquire what we call "21st Century Skills".
This project is endorsed by eTwinning, a European platform for students to communicate together through English. At the mention of Italy, Ukraine and Greece and other fascinating countries that are part of this project, my hand had a mind of its own and flew straight up and I remember screaming, "I'm in!".
Imagining myself wandering in the streets of Rome, the smell of pasta and cheese wafting from the restaurants sent me drooling...
Everything clicked into place and I was determined to win.
